Dick Bourgerie's layout is HO scale and 14' x 20' in size. It is a freelanced design with detailed western scenery set in the late '40's and features mostly steam with a few diesels. It is a completely finished layout that appeared in the October 1995 issue of Model Railroader Magazine. For more information please go here. Sometimes when I see these layouts I don't know whether to be inspired or discouraged.

Discouraged? Never. Photographs like that give us all something to aim for to one degree or another.
