Forum or not, does Bachmann read any modelers comments? Certainly the few occasioned that I contacted Bachmann's, on their products becoming faulty and required to be returned for repair, shows this to be the case.
On one occasion, the model was returned to me, exactly in the same condition as originally sent - on tackling this issue, Bachmann's representative, categorically inferred that the model would not have been returned without being inspected and repaired - the fact that wires were still unsoldered did not cut any ice with them and required in my sending back again the model at my expense.
[for identifying the unsoldered wires, I originally attached small self paper adhesive markers - incidentally, markers were still attached].
Other model manufacturers do tend to evade in writing a detailed note of work carried out.
