Steve,

Currently, there is no kit or RTR model of a Cl. 319 available. However you could:
1. Contact "No Nonsense Kits" (www.nnkits.co.uk), who own the old Modern Traction Kits moulds- including a 319. You might be able to acquire one kit or two.

2. Ask NNK if they have any Cl. 319 cabs, and affix them to Bratchell Models (www.bratchellmodels.com) Cl. 321/4 kits. This will not give you a 100% accurate rendition of a 319, as the lav is in a different vehicle, and, of course, 321s have no shoegear, plus underframe equipment differences, but it is a much easier way of getting a 319.
I thought I'd read somewhere that Bratchell Models might be planning one: it isn't my area of interest but I 'd have thought that if they or DC kits don't do one you'll be struggling.

I'm afraid that, unless it is in their 2006 programme (poor old Jame Bratchell, just getting round to a 150, when Bachy promise one for 2033 :) ), then Bratchell won't be doing one, and, even then, they will need sufficient pre-orders to produce the kit (Cl. 317 and Cl. 455 were cancelled due to insufficient orders).

:sigh:

I'd dearly love a model of Cheriton (319008) in CX livery!
NEW INFORMATION AS OF JUNE 2006:

No Nonsense Kits are currently producing a conversion kit (using the MTK moulds) for the 319. Be warned though, you will need two Bratchell Cl. 321 kits to get an accurate 319! Those of you who were at Alexandra Palace in April (lucky few) may have seen a Class 319 in the daycare "Days out" livery on the DEMU stand- that was built using this kit.

(Also available- Class 456-specific parts left out of the Bratchell kit)
