Adding sound to any layout is now easier than ever with the Dream Player by Pricom Design



You can control sound output using momentary buttons, motion sensors, occupency detectors or DCC. A fully loaded version is available with Scale Magic™ Sound from Fantasonics Engineering

Dream Player Specifications:

Power Input: 8-18V AC or DC
Connection: 2 position terminal strip
Current consumption: approx 200mA

Trigger Input: 4 Inputs for Switches or Contact Closures
Connection using 7 position terminal strip
Pull any input to GND with switches, relay contacts, etc.

Trigger Output: 4 Outputs for relays, lamps, lights, animation, or other player's trigger inputs
Connection using 7 position terminal strip
Pulls to GND. Outputs rated for 200mA each

Audio Output: Line Level Analog Audio Output
Connection using standard 3.5mm (1/8") stereo mini phone jack
Allows direct connection of 'media speakers'

Audio Formats: 8 bit or 16 bit, mono or stereo

Sample Rates: 16KHz, 22.05KHz, 24KHz, 32KHz, 44.1KHz

Output Level: 3V Peak-To-Peak Maximum

Level Control: 256 step digital output level/volume control

Storage Device: SD or MMC FLASH Card 64MB up to 2GB
128MB card stores 12 minutes of Stereo 44.1KHz 16 bit audio
256MB card stores 24 minutes of Stereo 44.1KHz 16 bit audio
512MB card stores 48 minutes of Stereo 44.1KHz 16 bit audio

Neil,

That was a bit hard on Scotland to be singled out for howling wind and rain. Don't forget the steady drip - drip of the rain in Wales or the melodious sound of birdsong in England (interrupted by sirens and occasional gunfire). Then we have the roar of jets over Heathrow and Gatwick, the traffic noise on the motorways, the rhythmical swishing noises from the windfarms.........I think I shall have to emigrate to New Zealand.
