I spoke to a Bachmann digital development engineer, who was on the Bachmann stand at the Swindon Steam Railway Modelling Festival (September).
Although we spoke in depth about the EZ-Command system. I could get no clue about the Dynamis, no matter how I tried. All he would say was "If you are about to buy a digital system for the first time, my advice is to wait and see what the Dynamis offers, you'll be surprised."
Now bear in mind that, in a former life, I was an Uk Sales Manager for an electronics company and new a few people that he had been dealing with during development. You can then see how "close to the chest" this is being plaid. I only hope it's not a big anti-climax when it's released.

I have wondered about the Bachmann attitude to forum criticism for some time.
As we are the customers and they are the suppliers, are we in a situation where the tail is trying to wag the dog?
If their business is profitable, it's because we buy the products they make. Let me make it clear for them:-
THEY HAVE NEVER DONE ME ANY FAVOURS, indeed by spending my money on their products, the opposite is possibly true.
Perhaps they think that all forum members only talk about it and never do any Railway Modelling, if so they need to be more professional with their market research.
At least Hornby have an adult attitude and Simon K is known to respond frequently to points made in forums. (yes Gary, I did say something nice about Hornby !! ) Cheers
