Hello Dynamis owners,
On a large scale forum people are wondering if dynamis would be ok for G scale stuff. In you instructions does it say anything about being able to switch the output voltage to 22volts for using with higher voltage stuff such as LGB?
I know they do the 5 amp booster and this covers the power for large scale and the bachmann large scale as it is all 12 volt motors but it's higher voltage that I'm wondering about.

Cant say i have seen it?

The dynamis I have was putting out 15.7 V

***No, you cannot - however I have to say that G Scale runs just fine at the voltage Dynamis puts out. 22 volts is a "max" figure that allows for significant voltage drop in scantily/badly wired garden layouts - the loco's themselves certainly don't need anywhere near that to operate well.

Just to add that in my experience most of my G1 locomotives,when running on analogue trundle round at a nice scale speed with a setting round about 10 - 12 volts so you would only perhaps have a problem if the layout was extensive and/or badly wired.

On DCC I use a Lenz LH100, set to 22volts, but I don't see any reason that any of the other units on the market would not do the job, provided that there is enough power available.
