ECoS and S-88
Does anyone know whether the ECoS unit can be made to interpret inputs from S-88 modules using inverse (i.e. upside down) logic?
I was experimenting the other day with a colleagues unit (I don't have one myself) and we found that because the track detector type we were trying out gives a logic low for 'occupied', the ECoS display would show 'all black squares' for that S-88 address (8 blocks). This appears to be incompatible with their auto shuttle facility, which as I understand it, expects active high signals in order to operate.
In principle it is a simple matter to invert the logic before it reaches the ECoS, but it would be useful if this were a selectable built-in feature.
Has anyone else come across this issue, or found a way of getting round it?
