I purchased two Gaugemaster HF1 Electronic Track Cleaners, using one of each HF1 TC's on each of the two oval tracks on my layout. The tracks are joined by two single RH/LH points, fitting each with two insulated fish plates at where the points intersect each other.
The wirings are made from the controller connectors to the TC's connectors.
Controller "16v ac connection" to the marked connectors on the TC's "16v ac".
Controllers "controlled 12v dc" connected to the TC's marked "controller".
TC's marked "Track" to the layout track connectors.
One layout circuit functions properly while the other fails to function.
Each track circuit is fed by its own individual controlled power controller.
The controllers are Gaugemaster 100MO and ECM controller.
Both TC's indicator lamps light up, showing that the 16v ac is ok. Only the TC connected to the 100MO controller fails to do this, until the connection is removed to the track. No locomotives are present on the track while testing the TC's.
Can anyone help in tracing and solving as to why one TC fails to function, this would be most appreciated.
