Hello all - Just joined up to this forum and posted a wanted add in the collectors corner. Been working with my son Joseph on our Bogglers End layout as seen in aprils Model Rail since January 2007 - having lots of fun and so far no serious injuries. Spent far too much at toy fairs and am a member of the BAE SYSTEMS Model Rail Club in Rochester. Looking to do a 2nd trip to Warley in November and bag some more bargains !! Hope to speak to some of you in the future and best of luck with all your endeavours.

Hi Bryan, Goedel, Britho....many thanks for your replies - nice to hear from you. Ref the free Eurofighters - I spent 4 years as the main buyer for the Heads Up Display on the EFA and that was quite enough believe me !!! We have our club room over at the BAE social club in Hoo - theres about 10 or so of us with 5 or 6 active members. We have a big 00 thats just been packd away to make room for a new OO and N gauge layout and an SM32 live steam - so if you are ever in the vicinity let me know as we meet on thursdays from 7.30 until its time for bed as zebedee would say. Ref my / my sons layout (good excuse that !!) there are some very old pics of it in Model Rail starting from the base boards being built up until about June July of last year when I wrote the article. Ive lots of later pics but havent a clue how to put them on here ? will have a bash but Im open to technical help - my normal copy and paste wont work and the insert tab is of no use as my pics arent on a web address anywhere. Are any of you going to the maidstone toy fair next month ? 26th april - its brilliant for bargains !!
there also a big toy fair at the bluebell line in april but my wife is about to pop out our second son so I cant wander that far -although there is another one there in July which I will go to - their platform shop as Kingscote is also good for OO bargains.

Let me know how to put some pics on here and I will stick them on

Its a late night reply folks - and Im off to bed now - too tired to go and play trains in the loft as just spent 4 hours of flat pack furniture torture with a cabin bed. Ta Ta and Best regards - Chris

Hello Chris,

You just need to upload them to a free* image hosting website like "flicker" or "666kb" and then copy the full web address of the picture between {img} and {/img} in your post, except use square brackets [ and ] instead of { and }. Hope this helps!

Hi Goedel - many thanks for the tip on adding pics - dont fancy paying just to share pics so will try those free sites as a source page. Will give it a go tomorrow and drop you all a mail when they are there - if you have a look at my profile pic it should now have a small pic of the high street under construction. Good night all.

Thanks Goedel, Britho

There are more railway ish pics on the flicker site - about 5 other pics I think. Excuse the amateurish look - Im one of those who finds something they like and then finds a space for it rather than plan the whole thing around a theme. But hey if they gave you a giggle we are all winners.

Best Regards

Chris - must have one more go...

And there was me thinking it was an australian railway from Goedel - should have realised by the lack of kangaroos ... theres a suggestion for the scenic guys - anyone do OO gauge marsupials ?

dont think Ive ever seen an auzzie outback layout - guaranteed to get you invites on the exhibition circuit though !!!! just need a pub and crocodile dundee figure from noch - sorry to any aussies out there no doubt you will thrash us at some sporting event that the UK invented so we can only retaliate with stereotyped suggestions of alcoholism ... Goedel think you have a winner there - with the dcc controlled kangaroos - give it 6 months and faller will have a whole animated zoo !!! I used to race Karts so their kart track looks fab to me - wish I had the space for it.
