What I've got so far.

BR 18.4 / SPw4u-28 / (SAu-28 / SAuK-28 / SBuK-28 / SBu-28) / SPw4u-28

From mid 30's onwards it looks like the BR 18's were replaced with BR 01's.
Still stuggling to find out how many coaches there was per train or the make up of the SA's and SB's coaches....

QUOTE (allan @ 24 Dec 2007, 06:15) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>This was almost always a five car train, including the baggage car immediately behind the lok. For a short time only, a second baggage car was used at the back of the train. Two additional passenger cars could be added if there was sufficient demand - rarely.

Thats almost what I've assumed.

I'm supprised how short the trains formations are. I was expecting them to be closer in length to the LNER's Silver Jubilee or Cornation train sets...

According to wikipedia they ran routes to:-

Basel SBB - Freiburg - Baden-Baden - Karlsruhe - Mannheim - Mainz - Köln - Düsseldorf - Duisburg - Zevenaar - Hoek van Holland - by boat: Harwich

I'll be running one on my Remagen layout and St.Laurent isn't that far away...
