Did anyone see this last night?

First episode and was about the coal route (Can't remember what the route was called) of a US train from coal face to power station. Apart from the over enthusiastic presenter who appeared not to be able to talk much below 90db it wasn't a bad show.

The gradients on the journey was quite surprising and it took in some great locations - horseshoe pass.

There was also an interesting part on a workshop which was just enormous. They could even lift the loco and move it around the shop with a giant crane.

I've been thinking about buying a couple of US locos for a while now.

Yes I watched it,the presenter would have been better using his high decibels for presenting WWF,but it was very watchable, the assisted climb up the gradient was quite a thing! They've got some monster engines across the pond. There is the American Railroad Centre in Bodmin which I've used and whilst in the shop been tempted by some of the stuff on display.
