Feedback on ZTC Diamond Decoder Performance Sought

Can anyone give a report on the ZTC Diamond decoders? I am thinking of getting some to power my Heljan Cl47s, in the mail Class 33s, and forthcoming Class 58. I have found both the Bachmann 3 function & Hornby basic decoder can overlolad when the loco is starting off hauling a long heavy train. For £13 they look good. Alternative suggestions would be welcomed by the way.
