The WD, Collet, N Class all pretty much have the same arrangement.
A tower motor driving the rear axle . I normally mount a TSC M1 or similar sized decoder on top of the motor mounting. Their not normally more than a few minutes work to install once you know the trick.
For this application Digitrax TCS and other wrapped micro decoders are easier to install.
I have nothing against Lenz decoders but they do need to ensure they can't short anything and more importantly need to dissipate heat.
