Hi, I have fitted a SWD sound chip into my Bachman class 40 along with an express lighting light kit, I found this ok but there is not a great deal of room ,To make it a lot easier I hard wired my chip and took the circuit board out, Which was no hassle at all. If you use some of the strip boards from Maplins to wire the bits up to it is easy. If I get chance I will take some picture of the class 40 inside and out for you to look at.
