I found this thread to be very helpful when considering adding a turntable to my layout. There is a wealth of useful information hidden deep within the depths of MRF.

The answers to this query helped me influenced my decision to buy the Fleischmann 6152c turntable and I also found the FL 6915 enhanced turntable controller on eBay at a very reasonable price. Now all I have to do is find the time to install all of this kit.

You are correct Simon; I will use whatever track looks correct when matched up with the Profi that leads off the turntable. I am investigating the Moebo upgrading kit for the Fleischmann turntable so the whole complex will be scenic'd and weathered. I have Peco code 100 and 75, Piko track and also Tillig Code 83 to choose from without having to buy anything else so the one that looks right will be the one chosen.

I did check out the availability of Fleischmann Profi track and it seems that the lengths that are mentioned in the turntable bumf are still on suppliers shelves but for how long stocks will last I have no idea. Who knows what the future holds and it is this concern that prompted me to buy the turntable now. I am also thinking of buying the Sommerfeldt overhead spider. I must be mad.

It is non-ballasted track si I am not sure if it's what you are after. At least the set contains a three-way point.

The photo on the ebay listing is misleading. Looking more closely the three-way point is not included in the drop down options.
