Heres an o gauge shunter I bought as an un-finished project for £15, stripping some of the bodywork to fit checkerplate and fittings, any ideas?

...and this is my first attempt at a building...

...it may end up as a shop, any ideas on what could be sold there?

Was thinking of something a bit different, maybe an adult type shop,or a dodgy kebab shop, what about "Ann Summers"? or am I being too crude? Suppose it depends on the surroundings. Even a quiet little hamlet has its seedy underworld.

How would I emulate the smell of stale chip fryers like we get here in the height of summer

Im lucky to a certain extent as Stein uses lard for fryers but he is far enough away from the harbour so I dont get the smell,(dont know if I should make this public on here but Im a vegetarian)

While waiting for my harbour walls to dry I dismantled my dapol diesel crane and mixed it up with the remains of my girlfriends ufo fibre optic lamp,it may need slowing down slightly....

...can anyone advise me about timer relays? If it has intermittant power at 3 or 4 second bursts it will change direction automatically, thanks in advance...Frame in padstow.

Sorry mate I would have to put my foot down there,we do get lots of guests but they have to put up with our mess. They either stay with us for nothing or pay £700/£800 for a week in a hotel in town.

"Christ",you should bring her down here and see my house, this place is designed for my partner and me to enjoy ourselves and have fun,we both like making stuff,so do the children. I do have a good tidy up about once a month but our busy time is here so were at work lots now. My layout is in our bedroom,18 by 7 1/2 foot, plus all the other c**p that comes with this hobby. My o gauge is scattered all round the house but is slowly creeping towards the garden
Our house isnt a conventional house btw.
Regards,Andy.

QUOTE (windsor lad @ 19 Nov 2009, 09:56) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I can tell you nearly all you need to know about restoring a 1973 Formula 455 Pontiac Firebird....I rebuilt mine over three years from the ground up. My Brother and I still have a '78 Z28 original though. Compared to Railway modelling it's alot more expensive to run, back breaking work but equally satisfying.
What's in your garage???

Oh! by the way, a twin-set is a matching jersey and cardigan, one worn outside the other.

I have a 69 mk 2 cortina at the moment but here is some of my previous motors....

I've had a few of these...one of my favourite british cars.
Frame.

(I think my zodiac is on fotobucket as is some others)
We have quite a few yank cars here because of the american airbase.
