My new A3 White Knight was running fine (other than an electrical fault on the track) when it decided to run with a regular jerky movement. My first suspicion was the gearing but after taking that out of the body I could feel friction in the wheels twice per revolution. It turned out to be one of the piston rods fouling its hole in the top of the plastic cylinder. Removal of the assembly revealed one hole smaller than the other, I ran a drill through and cleared the foul. The mystery is why should it happen in mid flight for no apparent reason.
