Great Hornby Service !!

Hi there, I would just like say how great HORNBY after sales service really is !!

Whilst on Holiday in the UK I got myself a "King Stephen" It was very hard to find. The Box had been slightly damaged, due to a previous price tag. I managed to get a 5 quid reduction on the loco ( still 80 quid though ) When I got home I decided to give Hornby a ring to ask about a new sleeve.
4 days later there was a huge parcel in front of my door. HORNBY had sent me free of charge a new sleeve for my King!! It cost them 3,85 £ to send it !!
Now thats what I call customer service !!

On several occasions it required me to approach Hornby relating to broken model parts, (parts were broken by me) and requesting availability, cost applicable.
Each time Hornby posted parts requested and a real credit to their after sales care - FOC.
Compared to another (touchy) un-nameable model train manufacturer, rather expensive replacements and on one occasion posted wrong parts, arguing that parts sent were correct!
