hi all! i recently acquired a lima class 20 diesel in BR blue from ebay, with this was a spare body shell in primer that i want to paint as a green version. problem is i have no idea what colour paint i should use!
i assume phoenix precision make this colour which is the brand i like to use, but i'm a bit stuck until i know exactly what colour i want.
can you tell i'm pretty new to this hobby?

thanks in advance, phil.

I think the colour you are looking for is P101 ( B.R. Loco Green (post 1954) ).

Humbrol no 3 is close but not correct. Humbrol used to make railway colours an also had a post-1954 BR locomotive green. I have some still in a drawer but can't rememebr the reference number off-hand.

I believe Hornby may be releasing a new range of railway colours under the Humbrol brand this year (to be confirmed).
