Do any of the forum members know where I can purchase Heljan spares?

I live in Sydney and have only purchased new or second hand models from overseas. Now I have two models that have burnt circuit boards and I looking for someone who sells replacement parts to determine whether it is worth purchasing new ones or doing the rewiring myself.

If our experience of Heljan "service" in the UK is anything to go by you will be better off rewiring them yourself. Sorry to be negative.
I believe Howes Models in Oxford are the UK agents. They would be worth a try
I got a spare circuit board from Howes when i damaged one they cost about £10 plus vat and postage prompt service though arrived within days you can order on line my link to their site doesn't work anymore so i presume theyve changed provider easy to find on google

Thanks for that , I have located the page on their website and bookmarked it. Looks like they are the UK agent - I noticed they sell other spares as well.

My Class 26 arrived (in Canada) with one defective part. I didn't want the cost and risk of shipping it back across the Atlantic, so I e-mailed details to the UK agent at [email protected] They responded almost immediately, and the replacement part arrived by air mail a few days later. That was a warranty issue, so I can't say how they are for routine spare parts service, but I was certainly pleased with their responsiveness that time. And it's a lovely engine!
