Hello from a model railroader

Hi everyone,

Guess I'm the second Turkish modeller aboard.

Been going thru topics for a while and decided to join the group.Its also nice to see fellow modellers here from other forums that I am part of.

The main reason I registered is that I am modelling in HO/ European models and noticed that you have a dedicated section on it and its in english
( Most of the HO forums are in German )

My story starts as everyone elses, my pa bought me a starter set.....and eventualy I was dully infected by the virus . At the age of 52 still can't get it out of my system.

I am one of the lucky persons who has seen the last era of steam before the diesels took over.
Yes you have guessed, I have a collection of Fleischmann, Roco, Liliput steam locos which once roared the rails of Turkey.

Hope to share our ideas and experiences in modelrailroading with the members of this forum mutually.

Glad you are fond of the "Skyliners". Its a pity that there are no models of it around.I will gladly post you in the appropriate section of the forum their pictures that I have taken which is on display in "Camlik/Turkey".
We have a model railroad club here in Istanbul, of which our moderator is also a member of this forum, and planing a trip to Camlik hopefully in May as a club. Why not join us. Camlik is Europes largest open air Steam loco museum.

As for the BR 50 I have a surprise for you as well.
