Hi everyone. I registered here a short time back and have already picked up plenty of good information and links. Thanks for that.
I'm building a small layout featuring a goods yard and a village, located somewhere in Southern England - hence the chalk cutting.
I'm hopeless at anything technical and when it comes to electrics, or realistic operations or signalling etc etc I haven't a clue, so expect some stupid questions from now on

Welcome to the forum. Good to see someone else in the same time zone, even if they do get a lot more sunshine.
