My interests lie mainly in 00 gauge western, midland and southern as well as green diesels. (just about everything!!!)
I have recently started a small project in N gauge, due to the exellent models being produced by Dapol, as well as the exellent prices offered by Hattons!!!
Amongst working on these two layouts i am also a volunteer and Fireman on the Llangollen Railway in North Wales.
As for the RA & FC, it stands for the Ratarse and Fartcastle Railway Company Limited!!! a totally ficticious micky take of a Colonel Stephens back water type railway, as well as being the name for my 00 gauge layout.
I've also moved from 00 to N Gauge, partly due to space constrictions and partly because of the quality of models now available, particularly from Dapol. I've got my order in for 2 Halls which are due for release in September.
Look forward to seeing your progress. There are plently of experts here who will, I'm sure, find a solution to any problems you may have.
