As some may aready know I am bringing back from the dead an old N gauge lay out, No DCC here , just good old kit I bought ten years ago.

I have good slow and fast running with Gaugemaster panel controller direct to track, but when I wired up the Relco, no movement at all. So I've disconnected the relco and off we go. The light on the relco did come on at one point.

Without the relco the brake simulator is not working either, if turned on then no movement at all.

Any tips welcome.

Hi swingcats
I have had the same an old Triang Princess Elizabeth and a diesel from a certain triang set.
The steam loco just buzzed and moved about an inch whereas the diesel' lights went on and then turned off. I went to a specialist who said that
a major overhauling was due involving taking them apart completely.
Hope this helped
Regards Ben

I now have both controllers working without the relcos fitted, however the brake feature does not seem to work on either controller, it used to work last time it was up and running. I'm getting good slow speed movement from most engines so not too worried about brake feature but if anyone knows why, let me know please.
