Hi there im a newbee and im after some help and advice on which material to use as a base, what height and any other useful tips u could offer, my matt is 6 x 4 thanx

There are some really good books about benchwork building. I myself bought one through Amazon and am thinking of getting a second one.

Probably good for you to do the same eh?

Or you could buy a beginners dvd. There's some on Ebay right now.
