Hi my name is Andy, I have just picked up the model rail bug, well my father has had model trains N and oo guage most of my life but it never flicked my switch until now. I am an electrical engineer and have found the joys of DCC in OO guage

Hi Andy. Welcome. I don't do DCC yet but it's clear that by adding another dimension to the hobby it will broaden its overall appeal.
