Hi,

Thought I'd say hello. started building an OO layout last year, but alas 'er indoors' changed her mind so it's now languishing in the garage going damp and rusty! Hope to maybe convert half the garage to a study or maybe get a new shed instead and run it in there.

Will be starting again though as I designed the layout to fit exactly into the recess in the spare bedroom, but at least it was good practice building the baseboard!

Cheers,

Justin

Hello justin

Welcome to the forum.

I also have a layout that was designed to fit in a recess. unfortunatly it wasnt a recess in my house and so it runs along the worktop!!

Hi Justin and welcome,

Seems to be a common problem, my 'plank' lives on top of a unit in the lounge (no domestic authority to make planning decisions).

The next scheme may be a problem though.

Regards
As the other half 'nationalised' a third of the garage for a utility room, I converted the rest into a workshop, new roof, double skinned walls etc. As we both work at home ,now it gives me another place to escape too, apart from the pub next door but one.
