After reading on another forum about Hornby stuff on sale at Hobby Craft, I went into my local store this morning. Although they did not have the coaches and 08 on offer that were mentioned, they had a number of Loco's.
I got a R2479B Cotswold Rail class 47 diesel for £29.99. I also got a R2341 Class A3 'Windsor Lad' DCC ready loco for £69.99.
They also had a R2502 DCC ready loco also for £69.99. Quite a good bargain even when comparing with net prices, and no postage. They are also very happy to refund your money if you are unhappy, as I have done in the past with an 08.
