Hi Keith,
I don't have a 60 but had a clicking on my 31 which turned out to be one of the sand pipes on catching on the sleepers, worth checking out.

I had a class 60 with the clicking. In fact it had a number of different clicks each time I took the bodywork off.
One problem was one of the wires from the pickups catching on the driveshaft universal joint. Another problem was that the gearbox had come apart slightly.

That's exactly what it was. Odd place to put wires if you ask me.
