Hi.
Has anyone got a V2 as produced by Michael Foster, Denis Williams and friends to celebrate the 50th anniversary Hornby Dublo. These were produced as a rather large project, which is still not complete.

I would welcome comments on this model and the current value for one in good condition.

These two items came up for sale 4 years ago at the same Vectis auction:-

Michael Foster Limited Edition 2-6-2 Class V2 Loco & Tender LNER green 4771 "Green Arrow", 1938-1989 Jubilee Souvenir with Certificate, in full colour picture blue & white striped box, together with all correspondence, Mint Boxed.
Price Realised: £320

And this:-

Anniversary Special Limited Edition (1994) 4-6-2 Loco & Tender BR green 46251 "City of Nottingham", with Certificate No.47 of 52, in full colour blue & white striped picture box with reproduction instructions, guarantee certificate, tested label, spanner & Phial of oil, Mint Boxed.
Price Realised: £450

I suspect it was the same seller for the two items. There has been nothing reported since. Dublo prices for quality items have firmed since then but these are not originals so its a tricky one to value. It depends on who is in the auction room on the day.
