Last year Hornby and Eddie Stobart Promotions released a Class 47 in the Eddie Stobart livery. As a result of the success of this model, Hornby and Eddie Stobart Promotions have announced the future release (September 05) of an 0-4-0 Locomotive, Lomac and Load and Conflat and Container. Each piece will be a limited edition of 500 pieces and will be individually numbered. Also the locomotive will have a different number and name to that in the complete train set as will the wagons. As yet there is no confirmation on R.R.P, but expect the locomotive to retail for around £27 and each piece of rolling stock to be around £10. Due to limited stocks, Eddie Stobart are only making 200 pieces of each available to the model trade, and a small number of stockists have already placed firm orders with them for sizeable quantities of the limited numbers being released and are taking pre-orders now from customers.

ED040 Eddie Stobart 040 Loco "Monica Pitman" (Ltd 500 pcs).
Variation: This loco is numbered "2" and has the name Monica Pitman on the side -the loco in the train set is numbered "1" and doesn't have a name.

ED4WW Eddie Stobart 4 Wheel Wagon (Ltd 500 pcs).
Variation: ESP logo in place of S logo on set wagon

ED4WLM Eddie Stobart Lomac and Load (Ltd 500 pcs).
Variation: ESP logo in place of S logo on set wagon

ED47900 Eddie Stobart Class 47 Loco 'Daniel James' (Ltd 1000 pcs) as released last year. There are now a handful of these available for sale.

These items are in an attractive livery and are likely to be very collectable in years to come.

Happy modelling

Just as an indicator as to how collectable these items are the limited edition Hornby Class 37 Diesel "Eddie Stobart Ltd" locomotives released in 1999 go for £150 or more on the occasions that they come up for auction. This is way ahead of the guide price in Ramsay's British Model Trains!

Now wasn't there a discussion elsewhere...

Happy modelling

hi gary, i have a class 37 eddie stobart ltd. model lokomotive, im looking to sell it as im not really into model railways anymore, id accept £120 for it if you want it. i live in workington so if you were going to the exhibition up here thats coming up it could exchange hands there ? if your not interested , how do you post a topic on the forum ? thanks .
Somehow, I think after 5 years this would have been resolved one way or another ...

Hello all,
As a BR Blue diesel man I wouldn't have an Eddie Stobbart loco or stock on my layout, but they do have a beautiful livery.
Greg.
