Just had a very quick flick through and as good as ever.

This months has a set of Scalescenes low relief arches inside to build.

We have a 009 narrow gauge layout! Ditton Heath!

Need to read it fully but the article on painting people looks very interesting!

loads of reviews and articles, don't really have time to post a complete list, will try later if I get time.

Right a quick list:-

Dewsbury Midland layout....very nice!

A update on Hornby's new models out this year.

Handling goods, an insight to container goods and the operational scope for the modeller.

Modelling Preservation:- Modelling a preserved railway.

Layout of the year 2007 as featured in Hornby Magazine.

Painting people, had a quick look, looks very good.

Off the shelf

DCC Class 57 fitting DCC to N gauge locos

Ditton Heath 009 narrow gauge layout, only a few pages long but very nice, photos are great.

Diesel Headcodes

Wiring the track

Low relief arches(Scalescenes)

Reviews:- Hornby Stanier 2-6-4T Heljans Falcon, Bachmann Dcc sound class 37/0

Signalling basics, this looks very useful!

Staff projects, reader projects, Chilcompton The reditch model railway club, Railway realism, on the road and show guide.

Enjoy!!!

Saw Dewsbury at the St Albans CMRA exhibition a year ago - excellent - deservedly won 'best of show' award. Pictures in my copy seemed to be a little over-exposed; roofs and stone wall are darker on the model.

Curiously 'Model Rail' started a series on signalling in their December 07 issue.

I've a strong recollection that both Dewsbury and Ditton Heath have appeared in other journals in the not too distant past as well.

It's a shame they haven't spilt the 'Best Layout' vote into 'Large' and 'Small' layouts, because my favourites are one large and one small and I can't make my mind up!

Regards,
John
