I like the look of the GWR Express Parcels Railcar.

R4314 - is that the first of the Maunsell brake composites?? I'll have to dig out my catalogue as soon as I get a chance.

according to the website R4314 is a Mk3 intercity coach!
I think it's a typo and meant to be R4318
Hmm, not much in the rolling stock line, except possibly a couple of Maunsell coaches.

However I can certainly see a couple of series 1 Land Rovers being acquired.

Regards
Yes. Having looked at the cataloge, R4314 is a TGS in Intercity livery, whereas Hornby's description sounds more like the Maunsell. We'll just have to wait and see: was the catalogue number the typo or was the description in error?
I like the idea that one of the Landies is described as "weathered", I wonder if they used the spray on mud you can get for Chelsea Tractors!

When did you last see a series 1 in Chelsea - unless it got seriously lost!

Mind you that will teach me to make a statement like that - I should have known that someone would then spot one..............

Not sure but I think itt's the old Lima one.

Regards
Looks like the May/June releases are going to be delayed by the problems in China.

I tried to order the BR Blue/grey Class 101 and 121 and was told by several dealers that they wont be in shops until end of June.
Either one of those Scots would look great on my layout, still much to spend before I get one though.

Dave.

The old Lima one was a single wagon on two bogies, this one appears to be two wagons on three bogies.

He's right the artic car transporter has occasionally been in the Hornby range for years, last produced in orange a few years back, not sure when it first appeared but it definitely pre-dates the Lima acquisition.
Paul/Hairy,

Sorry guys you're quite right - I really should have looked closer at the photo!

(departs hanging head in shame!)
