Ive recently been experimenting with dcc point control and wired up a Hornby points/acc decoder to a Select contoller. Apart from the insrtuctions being naff. I found that when programming the decoder the default first address 60 didnot work. I spent ages trying to overcome this then discovered thru experimentation that the next block address 65 programmed up first time no problem.

Also, I had assumed that the green wire on the hornby point motor was the common, this is not the case, the black wire is the common
Just thought Id post this info incase others have the same problem.
Red= positive (+)
Green = negative (-)
Black = Common (comm)
