hornby premier box set

i got the above set, and wanting to chip it. however i thought it was an old version as it was through mail order and was in the catalogue for a couple of years now. anyway i opened it up and found that it is dcc ready with a dc blanking plug in place. it's an 8-pin version,

the jinty and class 08 in the mixed goods set have a flat pin plug / socket connected to the decoder(s), which i was going to transfer over to the box set. not the case as some wires are cut at the decoder.
