Have just tried to implement some points motors (Hornby R8243 Surface Mount) with the Hornby R8216 points decoder and having successfully programmed the unit, connected up 2 points motors (to outputs 1 & 2) only output 1 would work properly, output 2 only operating in 1 direction. This error occured on output 3 as well, with only 1 & 4 working correctly and with full power. After a time, outputs 1 & 4 stopped working also.
Have tried re-programming to no avail, connecting the unit directly to the track output of the 'Elite' controller again to no avail.
Has anyone out there encounterd this and has an easy fix or have I got a duff R8216?
