Scratch that idea! If I recall part of a conversation with Dennis Lovett, Bachmann policy is to upgrade models as old tooling wears out so they may indeed not have any archived tooling. It may all be consigned to Hong Kong harbour.
I think Hornby will have this segment to themselves for a while; Bachmann have followed on from Mainline in appealing more to the serious end of the market while Hornby have straddled the fence as it were. I would have thought Hornby will consider those lines that have a duplicate/replaced model. There should be quite a range to pick from!
