Hi, does anyone know if Hornby are revising the dreadful chimney on the Royal Scot or do I go ahead and but one and replace the chimney with a better brass one?

*** With luck they will, but if you want an excellent replacement Brassmasters have one
If it is the case that it has been revised, then sadly it has not been revised to look more like a Royal Scot chimney. If a Royal Scot is a must have for you, then Richard's advice to fit a better replacement chimney is the way to go.
