I am delighted to report that I understand the new run of Stanier coaches have extended corridor connections. I am told they come in a separate bag in the box which is why the photos on the website of a well known retailer show the retracted connections.

Well done Hornby and Simon Kohler in particular for taking note of the ravings of myself and others,

Let us know how you get on Russell, if you`ve never removed the short ones before try turning the coach upside down, you should be able to see a slot at the back of the floor of the connection, gently push a screwdriver in and gently turn and they should "ping" out. It worked for me, no guarantees though.
