Jus to let you all know that the hornby T9 is out, in southern green!!!!!.
Looks superb model ,full cab details ,horby have done a very fine job on it.
The BR ones will be out just after Christmass ..

Not just here but on my layout. I collected the only BR(S) T9 delivered to our local dealer, Hendford Halt and I was very pleased to get it before Christmas.
First impressions based on one question- does it look like a T9? The answer is an unequivocal 'yes' , I saw them 'down Bood' in the early 60's as they worked their last days on parcels and locals, the Hornby captures the look perfectly. The cab is the wide, late version, whilst the narrow cab was akin to the crew sitting 'on' the loco rather than 'in' the cab.
My T9 will earn its keep on the locals and parcels, a rake of Bachmann Colletts in early BR livery awaits.
