Hello all and happy new year.
The Hornby T9 is a beautiful model and Hornby deserve much praise for such a fine model, BUT, there is a glaring fault with the six wheel tender version inasmuch as the the tender chassis has been fitted the wrong way round. The giveaway is that the guardirons, which should be at the outer end, are behind the steps at the loco end of the chassis. Drawings demonstrating this have recently been published in the Hornby magazine.
I couldn't believe that such an error could be made, and I hope that Hornby will be correcting the error in subsequent versions of this otherwise excellent model.
