How far would you go?
The swissinfo web site have posted another railway related human interest stories in the multimedia section of their website. The subject is a retired Japanese scientist who is spending 6 weeks on the Furka steam railway working as a volunteer conductor. The Furka steam railway runs from Realp to Gletsch through a tunnel near the summit of the Furka pass. I have posted a couple of photos which I took at Gletsch last summer. You can see them here.
