Personally I would love to see this happen as any IE Locos become extremely expensive on ebay, which is one of the few places where I can find them.

While Hornby have never made a actual model of a Irish Railway locomotive. They have as a matter of fact produced a Hymek locomotive along with two BR MkIIa's in C.I.E. livery in the mid 70's for Murphy's Models, Dublin.

I doubt Hornby will produce a model for such a limited market.
