Some of the best bargains aren't always in the most obvious places either. I was looking for some Bradford buses for my layout and typed in Bradford City and found ex set 46236 City of Bradford for £24 inc p&p in someones shop stock. OK it needs a pair of smoke deflectors and a buffer but it ran well after about 5 minutes straightening out the current supply to the tender. Saw the same loco at a swapmeet a couple of weeks ago for £65. If i order a pair of deflectors from modelspares for £2.50 plus p&p i've got a good example of a rare loco for around £30.

On my list of buys for this year is sister coronation city of scum

(oops Leeds) when it comes out, hopefully around my birthday looking at the catalogue.

I did get several replies from Ebay to my multitude of suggestions including the standard reply mentioned above.

However, one did say that they would consider my suggestion as they have had similar feedback from others.

This was extend the current OO locomotive list beyond "Hornby Dublo, Lima and other". Same with wagons and coaches.

My list of brands included Hornby, Bachmann, Mainline, Airfix, Dapol, Wrenn, Triang/Tri-ang and Trix.

Maybe if others here send in a similar suggestion they might do something.

Typically to add insult to injury I decided to list a few sets of nameplates i've got that are surplus to requirements.
I used the title Jackson evans nameplates class 58 011 suit hornby
I listed 3 different sets 2 with the above type of title and one with
Nameplates for class 60 091 for hornby or lima model.
The first one and the other similar listing got pulled for violating ebays policy on keyword spamming the class 60 listing didn't!
The word "suit" is a no no as are suitable, not,like,similar etc. They didn't ask me to change it just pulled the plug without so much as a warning. I eailed my annoyance and was informed the actual offending keyword was in fact hornby!!
I think the reason the other one got off was because i didn't say who the plates were made by.
Anyway if you do try selling on ebay watch out Big brother is watching you and he's twice as annoying as before.
I think it may've been payback for the stick i gave over the category changes as well.
