'In' rather than 'on' my workbench

A number of months agao I have had to remove and dismantle my layout in the attic (no photos) which I had been working on. It was more a lot of track and sidings and was a work in progress. However, the needs of an expanding family were paramount. (AND WE HAVE JUST HAD A BABY GIRL _ I WILL NOT POST A PHOTO AS THIS IS FOR MODEL RAILWAY ONLY)

Anyway.................

The models train passion thus turned to getting and fixing old models and purchasing some new ones.

The following are the book shelves in front of my desk where the locos shown require spares such as Chassis and odd connections, parts etc so are there to remind me. I check various web sites and other collectors on the web and am building up a number of contacts for spare parts.

Picture frame Wood Train Gas Flooring

An old Liliput shunter (very hard to get parts for - has no motor and no valve gear on the other side and ...
The bachmann Class 4 shunter is on a bachmann chassis but not the right one. Part of the fun for me is looking for a chassis for the body and a body for the chassis

Train Bookcase Publication Book Rolling

A Bachmann Collett ?? (GWR ??) 0-6-0 in need of a chassis and the tender is a BR green (??)

Train Wheel Rolling stock Wood Vehicle

The patriot just needs alast few bits which I am getting from Bachmann direct. This will then be a pristine loco ready for my (phantom) layout

These are some of the drawers where locos and various parts reside while they are being fixed or part are being sought.

Product Motor vehicle Vehicle Automotive design Automotive lighting

The old hornby princess class is ready to roll with just a few more repairs (a new motor was added and rewiring etc). It still eeds the smoke generator fixed (just a heating element and some solder) . The joueff (??) SNCF loco has the pantograph repaired and runs very well. It has the european style connectors so I also have a nnumber of carriages

Hood Luggage and bags Motor vehicle Bag Bumper

This drawer has ones in need of major work or requiring repairs to body.

I have a few other models and maybe as I progress I can post them on this site.

On with the playing

Hi Basil,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but that ain't a Collet tender behind the 32xx - it looks like a BR standard tender from a Mainline class 4 4-6-0. However i've sa feeling I might have a tender that is a Collet one - if I have I'll let you know.

Congatulations on the addition.

Regards
