Having thought some more, I have decided to sell my part complete layout Borough Road Sidings, a 4x1' inglenook, as follows:

One timber and ply baseboard measuring 4' x 1' including all trackwork, points, wires and part-completed scenery.

One card building kit (completed) plus various scenic materials not yet used.

One Hornby controller and transformer.

The following stock:

Second Hand all Hornby - Chatham Dockyard open wagon, Pontithel Chemical Co open wagon, LBSCR 0-6-0 tank engine, Stewart & Lloyd 0-4-0 tank engine. All in good condition and boxed.

Brand New all Hornby - Lomac wagon with load, SR conflat with container, SR vent van, BR (ex SR) Brakevan, War Dept 20T tanker, Esso 14T tanker, War Dept Munitions open wagon. All mint and boxed brand new.

I can also throw in some magazines and a brand new book about modelling worth £10.

Pics and more on the layout thread. I would prefer to sell all in one TBH, but I am flexible. Sensible offers via PM please....

This layout has got to go, so if you want it, please make any reasonable offer for the scenic board and trackwork, the rest I will list seperately. Or its eBay or the skip!

I plan on a newer N Gauge layout later in the year as even though this is minsicule we still dont have the room and I am getting domestic pressure for it to be re-homed!

QUOTE (goedel @ 4 May 2008, 17:51) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Ah yes, from experience there is never any let up there...the pressure rises and rises until meltdown. I have found that even new shoes and shopping trips can only work as control rods for a short time
.

Tell me!!

To be fair, it takes up a bit of our spare room what with the stock and modelling bits and is also a distraction fomr what I should be doing which is finishing off renovating our house....

Trouble is you may have guessed that models aren't my main hobby and my wife already puts up with enough because of my four-wheeled money pit I like to call my Land Rover!!
