Polls can be interesting but can also be real awkward swine to set up!
I'm still thinking about this one, before actually voting.
1. If possible, it's a good idea to have a 'Not a vote' category, so that curious people who in this case might not model anything but British, can still see the results without being tempted to make a meaningless vote (for some random country that would screw the results). But, often, one runs out of needed categories before adding that option - even if one remembers it.
One way out would be to vote OTHER - but see next point.
2. In this poll, for the vote to be accepted, you MUST select an epoch as well as a country. I should be ashamed to admit it, but I can't remember the epoch dates. Tut-tut!
In any case, are the epochs universal throughout Europe or, as I suspect, probably in disgraceful ignorance, are they related specifically to German practice? Genuine question - I truly don't know the answer.
This poll could unexpectedly broaden my education!
I'll scratch my head (and slurp much coffee) for a bit longer before voting, but I'm dying to look at the results to date!
Of course that is never allowed - and with good reason.
