Hi Temeraire and welcome...

I kind of guessed you were a bit of a 50 fan, I couldn't imagine the name came from the Turner painting - having said that '03 was named after it.

Having read all the Hornblower novels and sizable number of the Aubrey/Maturin series, my first thought was of the ship....
