How do all,
Freightliner Poland has some brand new plumbing sheds, I recently discovered, from ME 26-06's 'What To Buy Next' thread...all very impressive but just what is this?
Apparently:
QUOTE (RailColour)the first M62 series diesel locomotive, numbered 311D-01, rebuilt by the NEWAG works in Nowy Sacz (Poland) using new GE power modules. A first batch of 20 machines are on order by CBRail, and there is an option for 10 more
RailColour lives here and is very good for those who are Taurus or Traxx fans, whichever of the rivals from Siemens or Bombardier one likes best. Has up to date news and a wealth of pictures and insider information.
What sort of paint scheme is pale grey? Given the crazy colours and patterns elsewhere in Europe the only thing that should be grey now is a cement train! Perhaps this can be a thread for collecting the most sleep inducingly dull paint schemes of modern times...a single colour is perfectly fine I should say, as long as it is something rich like SBB green or ÖBB red, but grey, and electrical appliance grey at that...
