I have just taken the plunge and decided that I am going to use Kadee couplers.

The problem is I have used NEM long and short shank couplers (#17 + #19) for all of my locos and stock fitted with pockets and came to my new rake of 6 Hornby Seacows.

Why have Hornby not used NEM pockets and what are the best kadees to us for them as the coupling is connected to the bogie pivot and then back to the centre of the wagon?

Thank You

If possible I'd got for no 5's perhaps fitted to a piece of black plasti-card. You'll probably need some small self tappers 2mm work well. The number 5 is the most reliable of kadee couplers IMHO.

Check out Steve Jones' site www.electricnose.co.uk. He fits Kadees to all his stock and may have explained how he did Hornby Seacows. The site is worth a read even if you don't find the information you want.
